A cheese quesadilla is a quick and tasty Mexican dish made by grilling or pan-frying tortillas filled with melted cheese, often served with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream
Ingredients:
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 200gr Osogovski mixed yellow cheese or Gouda
- 250gr Chine fillet
- 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
- Optional: salsa, Osogovski sour cream, guacamole.
Instructions:
STEP I
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil. Add the cooked chicken and sauté for 2-3 minutes until warm. If desired, add onions or bell peppers to the skillet and cook until soft.
STEP II
Place one tortilla in the skillet. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla. Spread the cooked chicken mixture on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the chicken. Cover with the second tortilla.
STEP III
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Use a spatula to carefully flip it halfway through.
STEP IV
Remove from the skillet, cut into wedges, and serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, or any other desired toppings.
