Delight in a crispy baguette topped with melted cheese and a medley of fresh veggies, bringing together savory, cheesy goodness with vibrant, crunchy flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 70gr Osogovski melted cheese
  • 100gr. “Bon Appétit”- cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • lettuce or spinach
  • tomato
  • cucumber
  • red or yellow bell pepper
  • slices onion and garlic (optional)
  • fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

STEP I
In a small bowl make the dressing, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.

STEP II
Preheat your oven to 190°C. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and lightly brush the cut sides with Osogovski melted cheese. Place the baguette halves on a baking sheet.

STEP III
Sprinkle the shredded yellow cheese evenly over the cut sides of the baguette. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the baguette is toasted.

STEP IV
Remove the baguette from the oven and top with shredded lettuce or spinach, tomato slices, cucumber slices, red and yellow bell peppers, and red onion. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. In the end add the dressing.
